Key role for Clear Structures in Oxford Brookes campus refurbishment

Clear Structures is contributing its expertise in structural glazing to a major redevelopment project at the Headington Campus of Oxford Brookes University.

This project is part of the university’s ten-year programme to update its campuses and strengthen its position as a leading university.

In the first phase, a £20m refurbishment of the Clerici building is creating a new home for the Oxford Brookes Business School, together with a new lecture theatre, multi-functional new hall and teaching rooms, as well as a vibrant gateway into the campus.

Commissioned by Fabrite Engineering Ltd, Clear Structures has designed bespoke glass balustrades throughout the building for the gateway area, atrium, ground floor ramp, main hall, auditorium and library stairs.

The project is approaching completion and the new building is expected to re-open this year.
